Cougar Hardwood Classic Tickets Go On Sale September 18th!

WHAT:
Northwest Sports Inc. announces Washington State vs. SDSU December 21, 2006 in Seattle at KeyArena. This is the second AT&T Cougar Hardwood Classic presented by Northwest Dodge Dealers. The annual event features WSU at KeyArena. The Emerald City currently hosts an annual WSU football game. Men’s Basketball hopes to enjoy similar success to last season’s game where the Cougars defeated University of Utah 69-42. The game allows fans, alumni, and students on winter break to see a traditional NCAA caliber team play against the Cougars.
The opponent for WSU will be the Aztecs from San Diego State. National Championship head coach Steve Fisher will be bringing his defending Mountain West Conference Champions who nearly defeated Indiana in the 1st round of last seasons NCAA tournament in Salt Lake. The other side will feature head coach Tony Bennett whom is replacing his legendary father, Dick Bennett, on the WSU bench. Dick and Tony are enjoying resurgence since their arrival on campus and have high expectations for the 2006-2007 season. Fox and CSTV have expressed interest in this made for television contest.
